I've spent years watching Apple promise that Siri would become smarter, only to see other AI assistants move faster whenever the conversation became genuinely complex.
That changes this week.
Apple has now started rolling out Siri AI, a substantially rebuilt assistant powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence. And the most important upgrade is not a prettier Siri animation or more conversational answers.

Siri AI is finally much closer to the assistant Apple has been promising.
But the bigger story isn't Siri getting better at answering questions.
